“On the Move” is the theme for this week’s photo challenge from dailypost.wordpress.com.

I caught this shot on Oklahoma’s Grand Lake last weekend.  Two pairs of Canadian geese  were fussing around in a secluded cove.  From all the hooting and honking, I could tell that the two ganders were not fans of each other.  When one would get too close to the other’s mate, the sparring would begin.

In this photo you can see one male chasing the other away.  They almost appear to be walking on water, wouldn’t you say?

Here’s another shot showing both pairs in a quieter moment, more suitable and picturesque for an early Saturday morning.
